Brewser's Coffee is more than just a coffee house.
OUR STORY
We were built on the idea that something as simple as cup of coffee can do much more than just energize us.
Our founder Kamryn Scott created Brewser's in 2025. She had grown passionate about the business model of coffee as a way to drive change and build community. She imagined a dream coffee shop, one that ran social programs and felt like a home but was funded entirely by our delicious coffee – the perfect third space. With little knowledge on the coffee industry, she utilized her formal education, incorporating her lessons on social change and social entrepreneurship into this coffee shop daydream.
With the help of friends and family, Brewser's Coffee was born as a mobile coffee cart located outside USC's Campus. For 6 months, her cart was set up and taken down four days a week in front of USC’s main entrance, serving from 9:30am to 4pm. The cart became a home and third space for friends and customers at USC – and that was just the beginning of what was to come for us.
Community has always been at the heart of what we do, and without it, we would have never gotten this far. It was even a friend that connected us to our next stepping stone at the Sony Studios lot. We expanded our menu, our skills and our team; what was supposed to be a 6-week contract turned into 4 months of serving the amazing teams at Sony!
This is just the short version of a story that is STILL unfolding – today you can find us at Westfield Topanga Mall in Topanga Social.
Also, an ENORMOUS thank you to the incredible people who have continued to support us. Our dream of a mission-driven coffee house gets closer everyday because of you!
BREWSER'S BUILDING BLOCKS:
COMMUNITY. OPPORTUNITY. SUSTAINABILITY.
Each value feeds into another. By practicing sustainability and providing opportunities to drive social change, we positively impact` our community!
Since our inception, Brewser’s has made it a priority to be a brand and working environment that exemplifies these values. Not only were they built into our business practices but we pledge to continue pushing boundaries with our ultimate goal in mind – operating a fully mission-oriented coffee house.
But, how do we do that?
Here's what we are doing today and what we plan to do in the future to keep these values at the center of our business.
